		<description>Don't get  me wrong I think DRM is a good thing. As you mentioned it can be used in some innovative ways and I expect more to come.
But it is not the one solution to rule them all. Especially retail would be better of with watermarking or something like that.</description>

		<description>The funny thing about DRM is: DRMed media is more expensive to produce, but has less value for the customer.   At least, if you want to be in a retailing business. 

On the other hand: Music flatrate services like Napster or Jamba are only possible with DRM schemes in place.</description>

Four Music in Germany and EMI are selling songs in plain mp3. Nice move and probably part of a "go wide" strategy.
The question for DRM is: If everything is available without DRM what good does a DRMS do?</description>
